RefWorks

What is RefWorks?

RefWorks is a citation management system that allows users to collect, manage and organize research papers and documents.  You can read, annotate, organize, and cite your research as well as collaborate with friends and colleagues by sharing collections. Similar to EndNote, Mendeley or Zotero, the library provides and supports RefWorks for all Rush affiliates.

Users can:

  • Import citations from databases such as PubMed, CINAHL, Scopus, and more
  • Import PDFs and have RefWorks will read the metadata associated with that PDF to create a citation for it
  • Create a bibliography of imported citations
  • Assist with in-text citations
  • Share folders with other RefWorks users to facilitate collaboration
