Materials at Rush
All registered users of the Library can check out materials and use the Library’s online resources. To register, stop by the Library Services Desk or fill out the form above.
Members of the Rush community may access Library resources from off campus via a proxy account. Rush faculty and employees may login with their Rush username and password.
Materials at Other Libraries
You may request, book chapters, and journal articlesnot availavle from Rush via ILLiad, the library's online interlibrary loan system. Access this system along with instructions using the Log in button in the menu above.
The Library of Rush University Medical Center is a member of a group of more than 100 Illinois academic and institutional libraries that offer reciprocal borrowing. I-Share is a free service offered to Rush University Medical Center personnel through our online catalog. Libraries that participate in this reciprocal agreement in the Chicago area include UIC, UIUC, NEIU, North Park University, Robert Morris University, Roosevelt University, Adler University, SAIC, Elmhurst University, Dominican University, Concordia University, Oakton College, Harper College, DePaul, and IIT.

Our librarians provide comprehensive literature searches. Prior to utilizing our Librarian Assisted Search service, we ask that students meet with a librarian to learn database searching strategies.
