The Library is located in the Armour Academic Center, access to which is controlled by RUSH Security.
Library of RUSH University Medical Center Access
Access to the Library is available 24/7 to all RUSH personnel with a valid RUSH employee or student ID. An ID badge must be worn at all times while in the library or its study spaces.
RUSH University Medical Center Archives Access
In-person visits to the RUSH University Medical Center Archives are restricted to RUSH employees and RUSH students during RUSH Archives business hours. In-person visits from researchers from outside of RUSH must be approved by the archivist ahead of time. Appointments are strongly encouraged in order to allow the archivist time to identify appropriate documents and other material.
Reporting a Disturbance
If a fellow library user is causing a disturbance, please report it to the fifth floor Library Services Desk in person, by phone (312) 942-5950, or via the chat widget. If you feel threatened by an individual in the library, please call RUSH Security (312) 942-5678.
