How to limit PubMed search results to MEDLINE only:

Sometimes it is helpful to limiti results to only those journals that are indexed in MEDLINE.  To do this:

• Click on PubMed.                                                                                
• Enter search string
• Click on "Additional filters" in left-hand column
• Click on "Journal"
• Check the box next to "MEDLINE"
• Click on "Show" - this will make it show up on the search screen; you still need to do the next step:
• Check the box next to "MEDLINE" in left-hand column, and now it will limit results to MEDLINE journals only.
