How to limit PubMed search results to MEDLINE only:
Sometimes it is helpful to limit results to only those journals that are indexed in MEDLINE. To do this:
- Click on PubMed.
- Enter search string
- Click on "Additional filters" in left-hand column
- Click on "Journal"
- Check the box next to "MEDLINE"
- Click on "Show" - this will make it show up on the search screen; you still need to do the next step:
- Check the box next to "MEDLINE" in left-hand column, and now it will limit results to MEDLINE journals only.
