PICO searches
If you click on Advanced from the main Embase search screen, you will be brought to a page with advanced searching options. One of those is PICO. Embase give you the opportunity to build your search using the PICO framework.
PICO is an acronym for Population, Intervention, Comparison and Outcome. Embase provides fields for you to populate. Note: Embase prefers ONE WORD in each field. It will find synonyms for you.
There is also an option to limit by study design if you like.
