Prepared by: Kevin Le, Manager, Clinical Research Analytics, Research Computing

Data sharing is an essential part of collaborative research and data management. It involves making research data available to other researchers, stakeholders, or the public, in a secure and ethical manner. Data sharing can enhance the quality, transparency, and reproducibility of research, as well as facilitate new discoveries and innovations.

There are different methods for data sharing, depending on the type, size, format, and sensitivity of the data, as well as the preferences and requirements of the data owners and users. This document provides an overview of the standard operating procedures (SOP) of four common methods for data sharing art Rush: OneDrive, SharePoint, LabArchives, and SFTP.
