Librarian Assistance

Need extra help? Schedule an appointment with our librarians. These sessions can be catered to fit various needs. 

Some examples of the assistance librarians can provide include:

  • Identifying keywords and controlled vocabulary
  • Understanding and using Boolean operators
  • Guiding a literature search for a coursework
  • Help with a systematic/scoping review
  • Assistance with citation management systems (i.e. RefWorks, Covidence) and other research tools
  • Understanding what databases and other resources the library has available and how to use the

Appointments are available Monday - Friday, online and in-person. Please note, same-day appointments are difficult to accommodate. If possible, request your appointment at least 24 hours in advance. Appointments are offered at no cost.
