Scopus allows you to create email (and RSS) alerts. To do so, you will need to create a personal account as shown in the first video tutorial in the box to the left. As shown in the second video tutorial to the left, specific email alerts available include:
Search alerts notify you by email of new documents in Scopus that match the search in the alert. There is no limit on the number of alerts you can create.
You can create a search alert from the Search History page, the Search Results page, and the My Settings page. You can also save search alerts from the Saved Searches page, which you can access from the My Settings page.
Document citation alerts notify you by email when a selected document is cited on Scopus. You can create a Document Citation Alert from the Document Display page and the My Alerts page. There is no limit on the number of alerts you can create.
Non-Scopus documents and citations derived from Scopus references are not included.
Author Citation alerts notify you by email when an author or group of matched authors is cited on Scopus. You can create an Author Citation Alert at the Author Details page and from Cited By information. There is no limit on the number of alerts you can create.
You can edit Author Citation alerts on the My Alerts page.
