A few rules for using artificial intelligence for your classwork:
The University of Adelaide library system has created a lively, easy-to-read 22-page document that addresses this topic. It can be found by clicking this link How to Work with Artificial Intelligence - for Students and then finding the link with that same name. It is important to note that this guide is provided here for idea-generating purposes only, as it was not created by RUSH

The official RUSH policy states, in part:
There is concern, however, in institutions of higher education about the potential use of generative AI tools and systems for academically dishonest purposes. While this is an understandable concern, the ability to reliably detect AI-generated text is still developing. Currently, AI detection tools are prone to producing false positives, have been shown to be biased against non-native English speakers, and can be confounded by minor textual modifications. Consequently, students might use it without the permission of the faculty. As such, students must be informed of AI course policies and under what circumstances they might responsibly use generative AI. Any student's failure to comply with the statement on the use of generative AI tools in a course syllabus is considered a violation of academic integrity and subject to the same penalties stated in RUSH University's Student Code of Conduct Policy (UAC0030) and the Academic Honesty Policy (UAC0031).
...
It is important to note that students who choose to use AI technology must be aware of and accountable for its limitations, potential inaccuracies, and possible biases. They must also ensure that their use of AI does not violate any laws, regulations, or ethical standard or clinical practice on site. For students in clinical situations or at off-site clinical locations: Please refer to the location's policy on AI use for clinical work.
Disciplinary action will be imposed by the program/college on students who violate this policy, in accordance with RUSH University's Student Code of Conduct and Academic Honesty policies.
The policy can be found in its entirety here (RUSH login required).
