UpToDate Anywhere & Mobile App

RUSH University Medical Center faculty, staff and students can register for an UpToDate Anywhere account.

Registering for UpToDate Anywhere allows you to create a personal username and password (distinct from your RUSH username and password) for the UpToDate mobile apps and www.uptodate.com. Your personal UpToDate account can also be used track and redeem CME/CE/CPD credit earned while researching a clinical question while on or off campus. 

Note that your RUSH username and password cannot be used to log in to the UpToDate mobile apps directly. You must create an UpToDate Anywhere account.

To create your UpToDate Anywhere account, follow the steps below. 

1. Go to the RUMC Library's homepage and lick the UpToDate link in the Resources box. 
2. Sign in to UpToDate your RUSH credentials.
3. If you have not yet registered, you should be presented with a registration form. If you do not see the form, look for the orange Register link in the upper right. 
   
4. Fill out the registration form and click Submit Registration. After you submit your registration, you will receive an email from UpToDate with instructions on downloading UpToDate mobile apps. 
5. Be sure to remember the username and password you selected while registering, as it is the account you will use in the mobile app. 

​In order to keep your UpToDate Anywhere account active, log in to your UpToDate Anywhere account from an on-campus workstation or by following the link on the RUMC Library's home page at least once every 90 days. If you do not sign into your UpToDate account for 90 days, you will need to register again. 

Unfortunately, RUSH cannot assist with recovering access to your personal UpToDate account, and we cannot resetting your UpToDate password. To reset your password, use UpToDate's self-service reset link (https://www.uptodate.com/account/reset-password).

UpToDate offers apps for iOS and Android devices.

Please note that UpToDate apps will not accept your RUSH credentials. You must create a personal UpToDate Anywhere username and password.
